BUSINESS OPERATIONS ASSISTANCE (BOA)

1.0 IS ALL ABOUT WHAT?   

Business  operations  assistance  refers  to  an  occupation  involving  performance  of  office  operations  and  procedures  such  as  accounting,  purchasing  and  supplies.  It  is  an  occupation  which  involves  recording, analyzing, classifying, interpreting  and  reporting  accounting  information. It  further  includes  acquisition, receiving, storage and  distribution  of  materials.

2.0  ITS CONTRIBUTION  TO  THE  COUNTRY

Business  operations assistance  has played a significant role to our country, Tanzania through ensuring individuals are competent in such fields as maintaining records of accounting, purchasing and supplies, good customer services, computer skills, interpersonal skills together with Managerial and Organizational abilities to work independently, efficiently and effectively.

3.0  OUTCOME OF THE COURSE

 Students pursuing this course have a wide range of Employment Opportunities in both public and private sectors in the country

A] PUBLIC SECTOR 

 1. Ministries, Parastotal  Organizations, Training institutions,  International Organizations etc.

B] PRIVATE SECTOR

 1. Non Government Organizations (NGOs),  Private Companies,  Faith Based Organization (FBOs) etc

GENERAL COMPETENCES OF THE OCCUPATION

 Students under this course also possess the ability to;

a) Maintain office machines, equipment and surrounding.

                         b) Prepare source documents

                         c) Maintain books of accounts etc.

4.0  ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE STUDENTS

       The minimum entry qualifications in the course for the students are as follows;

LEVEL 1

        Should have completed Form Four with at  least a pass.

LEVEL 2

        The trainee should have attained a minimum CBET performance grade A or B or C in continuous assessment in Level 1 Business operation assistant.

LEVEL 3

         The trainee should have attained a minimum CBET performance grade A or B or C in  Level 2 Business operation assistant.

5.0  EXIT FOR THE STUDENTS AFTER COMPLETING THE COURSE

After a successful completion of National Vocational Award Level 3, a student from Business Operation Assistant is eligible to join DIPLOMA (NTA 5 & 6) in the field of Accounting and Finance, Procurement and Supplies and Business Administration of the Technical Institutions or Accounting Technician Certificate (ATEC) of the National Board for Accountants and Auditors (NBAA) or Procurement and Supplies Management Foundation Certificate (PSFC) of the Procurement and Supplies Professionals and Technicians Board (PSPTB).

6. REGISTRATION

You can collect application forms to join at Future World on this course on November and December for the January intake of the following year and on May and June for the July intake.  All form four leavers with at least one D pass can apply to join with this one year program for level II and another year for level II. You are all welcome!

Short of Our History

Since 1997 Future World was authorized to conduct driving courses through Future World Driving School, a training wing of Future World Vocational Institute which is registered and regulated by Traffic Police Department of Tanzania Police Force.The trainings conducted are in two categories; the trainings that enable trainees to qualify for ordinary driving licences and trainings that lead to qualify for advanced driving license. Future World Driving School is the only private driving school which is licensed to conduct driving courses for Heavy Duty Vehices (HDV) and Public Service Vehicles (PSV).
